Spirals toward Literacies

The spirals toward literacies graphic is a rendering of readings and research into the progression and definitions of media and digital skills, fluencies, competencies and literacies. I envisioned this as a DNA helix that contained individual and micro, meso, nano, macro, and temporal transitional elements. I argue that this is an upward spiraling process, but this spiraling action could also be recursive and iterative in up/down reciprocity.
