Media and digital literacies in Canadian teacher educators’ open educational practices: A post-intentional phenomenology

REB - glossary item

In Canada, each university has a research ethics board that oversees the approval of all research conducted, ensuring that researchers follow the expected guidelines established by the Tri-Council Policy Statement on Ethical Conduct for Research (see Tri-Council Policy in glossary). The Canadian Association of Research Ethics Board was established in 2000 with a focus on REB professionals to share practices and work together during challenging times, with the aim of improving the visibility and credibility of REBs across Canada. REB documentation is usually included in research outputs as verification of approval (see Appendix A).
